This piece is ingenious!! It is a perfect shape and size to allow safe hand clearance, safe push clearance while at the same time, leaving plenty of room to view the cut, VERY easy project that will be easily repeatable so, I can have several around the shop for easy access. AND, it is FREE out of that generous woodworker spirit!! I love this channel and 1 Minute Workbench makes woodworking fun and educational from first day in the shop to a salty ole veteran!! TWO THUMBS UP!!! I look forward to learning great things here!!

Keith, thank you for that awesome review!

Perfect size and works great. I cut it pretty quickly with the band saw, table saw, forstner bit and jigsaw. Then, I rounded all the edges except the bottom using the router table. I didn’t put the rubber strip on the bottom surface, as it is working fine without it. Thanks for posting the FREE template!

Thanks for the review, Jeff!

Great size and has made using my saw much safer than with the plastic push stick that came with my saw.
Thanks for putting this design out there.

Hi. Your approach and attitude in your videos are great. Sorry to say, I haven’t made the push stick yet, but I’ll do it as soon as I can. I’m still in the process of building my first shop. And it’s taking longer than I thought. 15 square meter garage. No heating. ///Anders

Dead simple to make, easy and comfortable to use. Best of all it helps support the piece being pushed and it keeps my fingers far away from the blade!

Thanks again for the FREE push stick. I’ve been looking for one and this is the one. I like how it keeps forward pressure one the piece as your pushing it through the saw.

New to wood working, so now I get to try out my old band saw, drill and saber saw. Really like the reminders to have fun but be safe. Enjoy the videos and the clear play-by-play instructions.

My first wood working project after few decades… used plywood 12mm (1/2”), I’m total ignorant in wood finishing, painted it badly with some acrylic spray paint, made bottom grip of mouse pad rubber – it is OK. I don’t have table saw, hopefully I’ll use it with router table when I built one.
Thanks Tommy for great instructions and videos… following you!
